Miller Nash adds four attorneys
to its Vancouver office

Miller Nash LLP has added four attorneys to its Vancouver office, reports Steve Horenstein, partner in charge of the Vancouver office. According to Horenstein, the 500 E Broadway Miller Nash office is at capacity. “We will begin construction within the next 30 days that will include several new offices to make room for additional attorneys, Horenstein said.

Headquartered in Portland, Miller Nash is one of the largest multispecialty law forms in the Pacific Northwest. The law firm also has offices in Seattle.

The new lawyers are as follows:

Colleen McMullen

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Colleen McMullen, long-time Clark County resident, is a partner and has been in the Portland office the past ten years. A former member of the Alumni Board of Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, McMullen has been with the Northeast Legal Clinic’s Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Campaign for Equal Justice. She earned her law degree at the Northwestern School of Law.

Dustin Klinger

Dustin Klinger joined the Portland office of Miller Nash in 1999.He is a member of the Washington State and Oregon State Bar Associations and is a member of the Oregon State Bar Real Estate and Land Use section loan opinion committee. Klinger earned his law degree from the University of Washington.

Jeff Lindberg

Jeff Lindberg, who previously worked for Davis Wright Tremaine, Portland, is admitted to practice in Washington and Oregon. He is also a member of the Clark County and the American Bar Associations. In 2005 Lindberg served as chair of the Oregon State Bar Pro Bono Committee. Lindberg is a graduate of the University of Portland and earned his law degree from Lewis & Clark College, where he is a member of the Cornelius Honor Society.

Christopher Veley

Christopher Veley joins Miller Nash as a litigation associate. He formerly worked in the Vancouver office of Bullivant Houser Bailey. Currently president of the Clark County Bar Association, Veley in 2005 founded the Clark County Young Lawyers Section of the association. He is a trustee of the Washington State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Veley is also southwest regional representative for the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association. Veley earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University in 1999.

Randall Kleinhesselink has been reappointed to a four-year term on the Clark County Mental Health Advisory Board.

Clark County commissioners are meeting in a retreat session through 4 p.m. today and will continue the retreat session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in the Red Lion Inn, Salmon Creek. The commissioners’ regular weekly board meeting is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1. n The Vancouver City Council, meeting in workshop session at 4 p.m. today to discuss the city’s relationship with C-TRAN, will follow that discussion with an executive session to discuss litigation. The council will reconvene at 7 p.m. in public session. Among items on the agenda is a proposed agreement between the Port of Vancouver and City of Vancouver for environmental studies relating to the proposed extension of NW 26th Avenue on port property. n The final annexation information fair in a current series being offered by the City of Vancouver is at 6 p.m. this evening in Covington Middle School, 11200 NE Rosewood Avenue.
