18th annual StreamTeam Earth Day Fest April 22

earth-day-fest-imageClark Public Utilities’ StreamTeam is hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 22, in partnership with Clark County. The 18th annual Earth Day Fest will be held at Salmon Creek Regional Park with activities for the whole family. The family-friendly event, open to the public, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with fun and educational activities for all-ages. There will be prizes, a birds of prey and reptile demonstrations, OMSI science festival activities, an interactive juggling act and more. Kids are also welcome to take part in a nature walk where wild salmon will be released into Salmon Creek. In addition to the fest, hundreds of volunteers will pitch in from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to plant native trees.
